How it works:
The network hosts
public blogs which publishes blog posts from toastmasters around the world who like to share their views, ideas and thoughts on public speaking and leadership.
Podcast will host the speeches by different toastmasters from toastmaster projects in mp3 format.
Videoblog publishes the videos of the speeches in the wmv format which can be viewed online or can be downloadedWe also hosts a
forum which provides a dicussion platform to talk with anybody around the world about different topics around public speaking and this network related ideas.
WIIFM- Whats in it for me ?!
Its another avenue to share your views and ideas otherthan toastmaster magazine and local newsletters. Forum - provides a platform to talk like minded people to get your question clarified. Blog - helps you to broadcast your speeches and help others to learn from it. It might help as a starting point for people thinking about creating their own blog. If you post gets acknowledged and you get more fans, you can start your own blog and we would be happy to help you. Podcast and Videoblogs helps to guide them by watching and listening different speakers to come up with innovative ideas. With all said, you are helping the toastmaster community to learn and grow forever with all the new tools. This will serve as an archive for the toastmasters which can be visited anytime and use it as reference.
Plans:
We are creating Star rated and Hall of fame blogs where the well accepted and more acknowledged posts will find their place. We are also planning to publish various speech series like ICE Breaker Series, CC & CL Series, AC & AL Speech Series recorded live in the toastmaster meetings. We are working to publish Interviews of Successful Speakers who have great experience in Public Speaking and mentored lots of people and helped to thrive up the clubs.
The highlight of all, we are also planning to bring International Speech Champhion Speaker interviews who will share their experience in their competitions and shed some tips for us on how to win the competitions.
Goal 2007
With help of toastmasters around us, we set the goal to publish around 50 works includinng blog posts, videoblog & podcasts.
